I would like to take a moment to welcome you to kimberlyluke.com and tell you a little bit about me. First of all, the most important factor in making me who I am today, in my opinion, is the fact I am an only child. I had a lot of time on my hands as a kid to attempt to entertain myself. Now you must know, we are talking about the 70’s here. I did not have a PS3, Wii, PSP, or even a computer. The Internet did not even exist as far as I know. So anyway, I turned to envisioning stories in my head. Once I became a teenager I discovered Romance Novels. Connie Mason was my early favorite. Overtime though, I found it harder and harder to find stories I really enjoyed. Once I start reading a novel I cannot put it down until I am done, which resulted in running out of new material to read quickly. Then I found myself flipping through many of the pages just to get to the end. A couple of years ago I had the bright idea I would write a novel myself, but I am afraid I did not have the patience for the research process. I would lose interest in the story by the time I located all the factual knowledge of the story’s setting. Also, reaching the story lengths required for publishing was a nightmare. Then one day I thought perhaps a blog would be the appropriate outlet for my stories. I do still read as much as my schedule allows and I will be providing reviews as well.
